Why Go to Church on Sunday?
Going to church services on Sunday is all part of the Christian lifestyle and culture but for some of us it is unfortunately no more than routine and for others just a necessary duty. Only recently I spoke to a woman who wanted to come to church whenever she felt like it, but not too regularly please!

"SABBATH WARS" TRACT
Spiritual Decline
Benton Johnson in his book On Dropping the Subject: says the Sabbath is a dead issue among American Presbyterians as it was 'killed off' in the 1930s and 1940s. This according to Johnson involved 'erosion of commitment to the churches "old agenda" of social and spiritual concerns'. Forces like the Lord's Day Alliance in the USA in partnership with the churches have been unable to stop the decline.
